The Acura RDX uses a vehicle-specific speaker mounting interface that requires a proper adapter when replacing the factory driver. These SMS Precision adapters retain the Acura-side geometry and provide a made-to-order opening for the selected aftermarket speaker.
Each adapter is produced in-house from ASA for automotive use. The vehicle mount stays fixed; the speaker opening is generated to the verified or customer-provided cutout.

Built to the Actual Speaker Opening
Nominal 6.5-inch or 6.75-inch size does not guarantee the same cutout. When the exact speaker model is available in the SMS geometry database, the adapter is produced from its verified published opening. Otherwise, provide the required cutout measurement.
Clearance responsibility: the buyer or installer must verify basket, motor, terminal, window/regulator, grille and interior-panel clearance.
This is a vehicle-specific, made-to-order SMS Precision product. Orders cannot be canceled or refunded after production begins, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
