The 2014–2020 Acura MDX uses a vehicle-specific door speaker mount. These SMS Precision adapters retain the factory MDX-side mounting geometry and provide a made-to-order opening for the selected aftermarket speaker.
Each adapter is produced in-house from ASA for automotive use. Vehicle-side geometry stays fixed; the speaker opening is generated to the verified or customer-provided cutout.

Built to the Actual Driver
When the exact speaker model is in the SMS geometry database, the opening can be produced from its verified published cutout. Otherwise, provide the required cutout measurement.
Clearance responsibility: matching the mounting pattern and speaker opening does not guarantee basket, magnet, terminal, window/regulator, grille or panel clearance. Those checks remain the responsibility of the buyer or installer.
