The 2015–2020 Acura TLX uses vehicle-specific speaker mounting geometry at the front doors and rear deck. These SMS Precision adapters retain the factory Acura-side mounting interface and provide a made-to-order opening for the selected aftermarket speaker.
Each adapter is produced in-house from ASA for automotive use. The vehicle-side geometry stays fixed; the speaker opening is generated to the verified or customer-provided cutout.

Built to the Actual Speaker Opening
Nominal speaker size does not determine the exact cutout. When the selected speaker is in the SMS geometry database, the opening can be produced from its verified published dimensions. Otherwise, provide the required cutout measurement.
Clearance responsibility: matching the adapter opening does not guarantee basket, motor, terminal, trim, rear-deck cover or other vehicle clearance. Those checks remain the responsibility of the buyer or installer.
This is a vehicle-specific, made-to-order SMS Precision product. Orders cannot be canceled or refunded after production begins, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
