The U.S.-market 2017–2022 Kia Sportage QL uses a vehicle-specific front-door speaker mount instead of a simple universal round opening. These SMS Precision adapters retain the Sportage-side mounting geometry and provide a made-to-order opening for the aftermarket speaker being installed.
Each pair is produced in-house from ASA for automotive use. The vehicle-side footprint stays fixed; the speaker opening is produced to the verified or customer-supplied cutout required for the selected driver.

Built to the Actual Speaker Opening
Nominal 6.5-inch or 6.75-inch size does not define the exact cutout. When the selected speaker is in the SMS geometry database, the opening can be produced from its verified published dimensions. Otherwise, provide the required cutout measurement.
Clearance responsibility: matching the adapter to the vehicle and speaker opening does not guarantee basket, magnet, terminal, window/regulator, grille or door-panel clearance. Those checks remain the responsibility of the buyer or installer.
