The SMS Precision 6.5-Inch Speaker Adapter for 2-Inch 4-Bolt Driver is a custom mounting adapter that allows a compatible 2-inch four-bolt driver to be installed in a 6.5-inch-class speaker location or fabrication opening. It is intended for custom doors, speaker pods, panels and other installations that require a rigid transition between the larger mounting footprint and the selected driver.
Driver bolt pattern, exit geometry, mounting depth, rear clearance, grille clearance and wiring access must be verified before installation. This is a fabrication component rather than a universal guarantee of fit for every 6.5-inch opening or four-bolt driver.
