Audi A3 8L 5.25-Inch Front-Door Speaker Adapter Pair

Vehicle-specific 3D-printed mounts for the first-generation Audi A3 8L front-speaker locations, with mounting geometry for a 5.25-inch / 130 mm-class driver. The speaker seat has defined clearances and is not universal to all nominally 5.25-inch baskets or surrounds.

Mounting Requirements and Fitment Limits

  • Fitment: The adapter is intended for the matching A3 8L factory front mounting pattern. Verify the original mount and replacement speaker: nominal 5.25-inch size does not establish identical cutout or bolt geometry.
  • Factory audio: Confirm the original factory speaker mount and audio package. The factory premium-audio speaker mount uses a different mounting geometry and should not be substituted for this design.
  • Replacement speaker: Compatible 5.25-inch-class driver only when actual basket opening, frame OD, bolt pattern, surround and rear depth match the adapter.
  • Hardware: The adapter uses M5 bolts and nuts for the speaker. Hardware not included; verify OEM-side screws as part of installation.
  • Clearance: Check door sheet metal, window/regulator travel, speaker terminals, trim and grille clearance.

Package and Build

One pair: two custom 3D-printed black ASA front speaker adapter brackets. Approximate CAD envelope per bracket: 134 × 134 × 14 mm. Actual print surface finish can vary. Speakers, wiring, hardware, gaskets and installation not included.
