Fitment Is Based on the Actual Battery
The BCI group designation gets you into the correct battery-size family, but the final installation still depends on the exact case and terminal layout. Confirm that the battery can sit in the mount correctly and that the terminals remain clear of metal, trim, wiring and other components.
The mount handles the battery location. It does not override the battery manufacturer’s mounting, ventilation, temperature or orientation requirements.
Plan the Mounting Location Before Installation
Attach the mount to a secure structural surface that can support the battery during normal vehicle movement. Leave enough room to service the battery and route the cables without sharp bends, abrasion or strain at the terminals.
Fuse protection, cable size, cable routing and terminal protection remain part of the electrical-system design and should be planned around the actual battery and system load.
