Soundstream Reserve SG.V2 — 1998–2013 Street Glide/Ultra 8.3-Inch Head Unit — Radio Only
The SG.V2 radio-only variant is for the older Street Glide or Ultra getting Soundstream’s full 8.3-inch touring radio without bundling a Maestro module into the purchase. You still get the actual SG.V2 platform: wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 1000-nit widescreen display, built-in iGO Primo navigation, SiriusXM readiness, wireless rider/passenger headset audio and Rally Mode.
Choose this version when the bike does not need the optional Maestro vehicle-data layer or the correct RR/RR2 interface is already being supplied separately. If you want supported on-screen gauges, pop-up vehicle warnings and deeper handlebar-control programming, the EPS-MRR or EPS-MRR2 package is the better buying path because it keeps the required interface with the radio from the beginning.
For the audio system, SG.V2 is a serious front end. Soundstream publishes 5-volt front/rear/subwoofer RCA outputs, a 15-band EQ and separate crossover control for the speaker and subwoofer paths. Its built-in 200-watt Class D amplifier is 2-ohm stable, but on a fairing/saddlebag system with external amps the preamp and tuning side is what makes this radio more useful.

The source unit has to fit more than the dash opening. Steering-wheel controls, factory cameras, amplified audio, chimes, USB, vehicle settings and data integration can change the correct installation path.
