Description

Soundstream Reserve WHD.UNLOC — Maestro RR2 OEM-Integration Upgrade for WHD14+

WHD.UNLOC is the piece you add when a WHD14+ radio replacement has to keep working with the bike instead of only replacing the source unit. It is built around iDatalink Maestro RR2 and includes the prewired interface harness plus the required software update for the WHD14+ platform.

The practical payoff is factory-system communication. On supported motorcycles, Soundstream lists up to 10 on-screen digital gauges from more than 40 available data points, pop-up warnings for oil pressure, fuel level, engine temperature and other vehicle information, and customizable handlebar thumb-control functions. It also provides the integration path for compatible Boom 1, Boom 2 and HD Audio OEM audio systems.

Do not buy WHD.UNLOC just because the radio has a USB port and the kit sounds like an “upgrade.” If the bike only needs basic handlebar controls with a normal aftermarket amplifier/speaker system, the simpler handlebar-control-module path may be all the job needs. This kit makes sense when OEM amp retention, vehicle data and deeper CANBUS integration are the actual problems being solved.
