Soundstream Reserve SS.1824
The SS.1824 is a vehicle-specific multimedia receiver for 2018–2024 Polaris Slingshot models. It is designed to replace the factory radio while retaining the controls and factory connections that matter, rather than requiring a generic radio, separate dash kit, and multiple integration adapters.
What the Included Integration Retains
- Factory OEM handlebar/steering-wheel controls through the included interface module
- Factory rear-view camera with an on-screen shortcut
- Factory radio mounting location and original mounting hardware
- Factory USB location and AM/FM antenna connection using the appropriate supplied connections for the model year
The included control interface retains supported Volume, Playback, Station Preset, and Phone functions.
Why the 2018–2019 and 2020–2024 Installations Are Different
The dashboard and connection details changed during the Slingshot production run, so Soundstream supplies both vehicle-specific trim solutions. The SS.1824 includes an aluminum trim panel for 2018–2019 models and an ABS trim panel for 2020–2024 models. On 2020–2024 Slingshots it uses the factory USB and antenna connections directly; the needed USB/antenna adaptation is supplied for 2018–2019 applications.
