XS Power Li-S680 12V LithiumFit+ LiFePO4 Battery
Need a lot of 12-volt current without adding the weight of a conventional AGM battery? That is where the Li-S680 makes sense. This compact LiFePO4 battery weighs about 5 pounds and is built for high-current starting and performance applications, so it can also make sense in a properly designed car-audio electrical system when the vehicle and charging system are compatible with lithium.
This particular Li-S680 is used and was pulled from a working build. The photos show the actual battery you are buying, including the label and normal cosmetic marks from installation. Resting voltage was checked when it was listed. For a build where the battery size, weight and current capability fit the plan, this is a way to get into an XS Power lithium battery without paying new-battery money.
The specifications below are the ratings printed on the label of this photographed used Li-S680. They apply to this exact battery.
What it will not do: this is not a drop-in replacement for every 12-volt battery system. The alternator, charging voltage and charger must be compatible with LiFePO4 chemistry, and the label on this battery states that charge voltage must not exceed 14.6 V. Because this is a used battery, resting voltage does not guarantee that remaining capacity or cycle life is the same as a new battery.
