Adding battery after battery can give you more reserve, but it does not fix a charging system that cannot replace the current the amplifiers are using. A high-output alternator increases what the vehicle can produce while the engine is running.

Alternator output still has to work with the vehicle, belt drive, idle demand, battery or storage setup, wiring, and real amplifier load. We treat the alternator as part of the complete electrical system, not a stand-alone amperage number.
