Lit FX Support
Lit FX is a Bluetooth lighting-control app from SMS Car Audio / Simple Mobile Solutions. The current 1.0 release focuses on hardware-qualified support for compatible SP110E, SP601E, and SP630E controllers. Additional controllers may be added in future app updates after protocol and hardware qualification.
Getting started
Turn on the lighting controller and Bluetooth on your phone, open Lit FX, tap Find Controllers, select the supported controller, and connect. The app reads controller status before enabling supported controls.
Current controls
Available controls vary by controller and firmware. Current qualified features include power, brightness, colors, numbered effects, speed, effect length, direction, LED order or hardware setup where supported, SP601 dual-channel control, SP630 custom 1–5 color patterns, and SP630 controller-microphone music effects with sensitivity.
Troubleshooting
Controller not found: Confirm the controller is powered, Bluetooth is enabled, and the controller is not actively connected to another phone or lighting app. Move the phone close to the controller and scan again.
Connected but controls are unavailable: Some controllers require hardware setup or a successful status readback before controls are enabled. Disconnect, reconnect, and allow the status read to complete.
New SP630E: A factory-new SP630E may initially be unconfigured. Lit FX can apply the qualified SMS default for compatible addressable SPI RGB lighting and verify the controller readback before enabling controls.
Bluetooth permission: Lit FX uses Bluetooth permission only to discover and control compatible lighting hardware locally.
Privacy and data
Lit FX does not require an account. The current release has no advertising, analytics, cloud account service, or developer-server data collection. See the Lit FX Privacy Policy.
