OPEN-AIR / MOTORCYCLE / POWERSPORTS FIT
Where this fits in the build
These speakers have to work where wind, road noise, mounting space and exposure change the job. Match the driver to the actual location, output target, amplifier power and environment instead of treating it like a normal door-speaker replacement.
Plan aroundConfirm mounting location, depth, cutout and how exposed the speaker will be.
Match itMatch efficiency, usable bandwidth and clean amplifier power to the output needed at speed or outdoors.
Finish itPlan crossover, mounting, wiring and electrical support with the complete open-air system.
Description
POWER10iX 4-Ohm — Choose this version when one 10-inch driver is being run on its own amplifier channel and a 4-ohm load matches the amplifier plan. It gives you the POWER10iX job—real low-frequency and midbass output from a high-excursion 10-inch—without choosing a higher-impedance driver just to rework the wiring later. The family is rated at 500 W AES / 1,000 W program, with a 3-inch voice coil, 40 Hz–3.3 kHz published range and 13 mm Xmax. The 4-ohm version is not automatically louder than the 8-ohm model; it is the better choice when the amplifier, driver count and final load call for 4 ohms. We would use it for a single 10 per channel in a motorcycle bag, custom door or dedicated midbass/low-frequency section, with enclosure, high-pass/low-pass filtering and amplifier power designed around the actual install.
