CHX525.2 — 5.25-Inch Pro Coaxial Horn — 2Ω — Pair
Choose CHX525.2 when the vehicle only gives you a true 5.25-inch opening but the customer still wants Cicada’s CHX Pro Coaxial Horn character instead of a conventional small coaxial. This is the smallest CHX footprint, so its purpose is fitting a tighter factory location while preserving horn-loaded projection.
At 150W RMS and 91 dB sensitivity, it is not simply a smaller CHX65. SMS would use the 2-ohm version when the amplifier is designed for that load and the resulting power matches the speaker. If the amplifier plan is 4 ohms, choose CHX525.4 rather than changing the rest of the system to chase a lower impedance.
