Description

CM65.2X — 6.5-Inch CM-X Component Mid-Bass — 2Ω — Pair

Choose CM65.2X when the front stage is being built as a real component system with a separate tweeter/horn and the amplifier is designed around a 2-ohm mid-bass load. Compared with CXXM65, CM-X steps up to 250W RMS, a CMC cone, die-cast basket and much more published upper-frequency extension.

SMS would use the 6.5-inch CM-X where fairing fitment still matters but the customer wants more output and crossover flexibility than the lower-power CXXM platform. This is not a full-range speaker by itself—the separate high-frequency driver and DSP/crossover plan are part of the system. Use CM65.4X when the amplifier/channel architecture calls for 4 ohms.

Where this fits in the build

These speakers have to work where wind, road noise, mounting space and exposure change the job. Match the driver to the actual location, output target, amplifier power and environment instead of treating it like a normal door-speaker replacement.
