Description
14CXK65.2 — 2014–2023 Harley / 6.5-Inch / 2Ω
This is the 2014–2023 Harley version to use when you want a true component front stage in the factory 6.5-inch locations and the amplifier is comfortable driving a 2-ohm speaker load. The lower impedance is useful when the goal is to get more usable channel power from a compact motorcycle amplifier; it is not automatically the right choice if the rest of the system is designed around 4 ohms.
The 6.5-inch CMC™ mid-bass handles the body of the music while the separate 1-inch ring-radiator horn tweeter lets the high-frequency section be placed and aimed independently. SMS would use this when the customer wants more projection and control than a basic coaxial upgrade without moving into a larger custom speaker conversion.

Where this fits in the build
These speakers have to work where wind, road noise, mounting space and exposure change the job. Match the driver to the actual location, output target, amplifier power and environment instead of treating it like a normal door-speaker replacement.

Match itMatch efficiency, usable bandwidth and clean amplifier power to the output needed at speed or outdoors.
