CXX4.2 — 4-Inch Pro Coaxial — 2Ω — Pair
Choose CXX4.2 when the vehicle has a genuinely small 4-inch factory location but the customer still wants Cicada’s Pro Coaxial construction instead of a basic replacement speaker. The tradeoff is physics: this size gives up low-frequency extension compared with the larger CXX models, with Cicada publishing a 100 Hz lower response limit.
SMS would use the 2-ohm version when the amplifier is stable at 2 ohms and the resulting power is appropriate for the 100W RMS speaker. If a 5.25 or 6.5-inch location is available, choose the larger speaker for cone area and lower extension rather than defaulting to the smallest CXX simply because it fits easily.

Where this fits in the build
These speakers have to work where wind, road noise, mounting space and exposure change the job. Match the driver to the actual location, output target, amplifier power and environment instead of treating it like a normal door-speaker replacement.
