CXXM65.2 — 6.5-Inch Dedicated Mid-Bass — 2Ω — Pair
CXXM65.2 makes sense when the front stage is already using a separate tweeter/horn and there is no reason to pay for an integrated coaxial tweeter. It keeps Cicada’s Kevlar/neodymium construction in a shallow 6.5-inch dedicated mid-bass package rated at 100W RMS per speaker.
SMS would choose this over CM65X when the system does not need 250W RMS power handling or the broader CM-X upper-frequency capability. The 2-ohm version is for an amplifier designed around that load; if the channel plan calls for 4 ohms, use CXXM65.4.
