14HDRING10 — 2014–2023 Harley 10-Inch Saddlebag Mid-Bass Ring & Grille Kit
Use 14HDRING10 when the 2014–2023 Touring saddlebag is being converted for a real 10-inch Cicada mid-bass/woofer instead of asking the lid speaker to carry all of the low-mid energy. This is the structural mounting kit for the bag body: rings, reinforcement, damping, gaskets and grilles are all part of making the cut-in install live on a motorcycle instead of behaving like a loose speaker screwed into plastic.
The important buying detail is that this kit does not include the cutting template. Cicada requires 14HDRINGT separately to lay out the speaker, brace and port cuts correctly. If the bag is being built as a ported mid-bass enclosure, HDPORT3 is the matching 3-inch right-angle port. SMS would plan the ring, template, speaker and port together before the first cut is made.
