These speakers have to work where wind, road noise, mounting space and exposure change the job. Match the driver to the actual location, output target, amplifier power and environment instead of treating it like a normal door-speaker replacement.
Description
The 2024+ Harley saddlebag lid changed enough that an older 2014–2023 cut kit is not the right starting point. The DS18 RY-HD69SBU.24 is built specifically to convert compatible 2024+ factory non-speaker saddlebag lids for a pair of standard motorcycle 6x9 speakers while keeping the cut controlled and the finished lid properly supported.
The kit uses precision cutting templates so the opening is laid out before the lid is touched, then the molded ABS/PC adapters clamp and reinforce the speaker location. Steel mesh grilles with cloth backing finish the top side and help keep the install looking intentional instead of like a generic speaker was dropped into the lid.
DS18 also includes the saddlebag speaker harnesses and an amplifier-ready main harness, which makes this more than just two plastic rings. It gives the installer the mechanical and wiring pieces needed to build the rear stage as a system.
Fits: Compatible 2024+ Harley-Davidson Touring models using factory non-speaker saddlebag lids. Verify exact lid and bag configuration before cutting.
Kit includes: two 6x9 lid adapters, two steel mesh grilles, two saddlebag speaker harnesses, one main amplifier-ready harness, two cutting templates, rubber grommets, metal hole covers and mounting hardware.
Speakers are not included. Speaker depth and basket geometry still need to be verified for the exact 6x9 being installed. Some installations may require minor harness modification depending on the bike and system layout.
