For Solid-Color Lit FX Lighting — Not Color-Chase
The Flashtech FTLED-RF1 is the controller for a Lit FX system that uses a compatible 2-wire single-color LED load and needs wireless on/off, dimming and lighting effects. If the rings or panels are Solid Red, Solid Blue or Solid Green, this is the type of controller that makes sense. If the product is Color-Chase RGB — Addressable, use an addressable Lit FX controller instead.
What It Gives You
The RF remote lets you control a fixed-color LED system without adding a phone app or addressable data line. Flashtech publishes 10 dimming levels, eight dynamic modes, adjustable effect speed, 256-grade PWM and an auto-save function. The LED color itself stays fixed; the controller changes brightness and effects, not the actual color of the LEDs.

The six-foot fused lead belongs to the FTLED-RF1 controller package. Do not confuse it with the separate Flashtech FT-FUSEHAR, which is a much shorter fused controller-power adapter.
Load Sizing
Confirm the controller’s allowable load for the exact lighting system before installation. Do not increase the supplied 5A fuse or force the controller to carry an oversized lighting load. If the system requires more current than the controller can support, split the lighting correctly instead.
Where It Fits in a Lit FX System
Use the RF1 when the customer wants one fixed color but still wants remote brightness and effects. It keeps a Solid Red, Solid Blue or Solid Green system simple because there is no addressable data controller to configure.
It is not the correct controller for Color-Chase RGB — Addressable rings, panels or other addressable lighting. Those products need the compatible Lit FX addressable controller and 3-pin signal architecture.

Mount the controller and connections in a dry, protected location, use a properly sized vehicle-side power and ground path, and do not increase the supplied fuse size to compensate for an oversized lighting load.
