Add Lighting Around Both Factory Overhead Speakers Without Changing the Sound-Bar Layout

This Lit FX pair is built for the two factory overhead speaker locations on compatible 2018–2023 Wrangler JL/JLU and 2020–2023 Gladiator JT sound bars. The rings follow the factory speaker positions, so you can add an illuminated detail overhead without changing where the speakers mount.

The kit is sold as a pair for both factory sound-bar speaker locations and includes the extra hardware needed to account for the added ring thickness. The installation does require planning for the LED wiring, because access holes have to be drilled into the factory sound bar.

Before You Order

Confirm the Jeep and the sound bar before checkout. This pair is for the factory overhead sound bar in 2018–2023 Wrangler JL/JLU and 2020–2023 Gladiator JT. It is not confirmed for aftermarket sound bars or other speaker locations.

Choose the Lighting Type you want. The matching controller, one LED extension cable and the longer speaker-mounting bolts are included with the pair. The vehicle power harness is separate. Installation also requires drilling access holes in the factory sound bar for the LED wiring, so plan the wire route before the speakers go back in.

After Checkout — No Artwork Step Required

This kit does not use the custom-artwork approval process from our engraved Lit FX panels. The Lighting Type you select determines the LED system and matching controller included with the pair. Before installation, verify the factory sound-bar application, drilling points, speaker clearance, wire routing and the fused vehicle power path.

Choose the Lighting Around the Jeep

• Color-Chase RGB — Addressable: Addressable lighting for dynamic color effects and static-color use. The matching addressable controller is included.
• Solid Red: Fixed red illumination with the matching single-color controller included.
• Solid Blue: Fixed blue illumination with the matching single-color controller included.
• Solid Green: Fixed green illumination with the matching single-color controller included.

The solid-color selections do not use an addressable chase controller; they include the appropriate single-color controller instead.

Why the Longer Bolts Are Included

The LED rings add material between the speaker and the factory mounting surface. The included longer bolts provide the additional fastener length needed for the ring installation instead of trying to reuse hardware that was sized for the original stack-up.

Plan the Wiring Before the Speakers Go Back In

Access holes have to be drilled in the factory sound bar for the LED wiring. Decide where the lighting leads will enter the enclosure before final speaker installation.

Check speaker clearance, internal wiring and the enclosure structure before drilling. Route the LED lead so it cannot be pinched by the speaker basket or mounting hardware.

Power & Wiring

The matching controller and one LED extension cable are included. The lighting still needs a properly fused vehicle power connection and a secure ground. The vehicle power harness is sold separately. Before final assembly, confirm ring fitment, wire routing, drilling location and clearance inside the sound bar.

Professional installation is recommended.
