MMATS Pro Audio Dreadnaut Subwoofers
Dreadnaut sits in the MMATS lineup for customers who want strong output without giving up musical response. MMATS describes the family as built to stay loud and smooth rather than acting like a one-note SPL woofer.
Why we use it: Dreadnaut works well in daily-driven SQL systems where the sub stage still needs to play deep, stay controlled and handle meaningful power. The family runs from compact 6.5 and 8-inch models through 10, 12 and 15-inch choices.
Choose by packaging and output goal
- 6.5 / 8-inch: compact enclosures and tight-space systems.
- 10 / 12-inch: strong daily-driver balance of enclosure size and displacement.
- 15-inch: more cone area when the vehicle can support the larger enclosure.
Tradeoff: a bigger driver is not automatically better if the enclosure or electrical system cannot support it. Box design and final impedance decide whether the system actually uses the extra capability.
