HM65.4 — 6.5-Inch Carbon-Fiber Pro Midrange — Ferrite Motor
Choose the ferrite HM65.4 when the system needs a serious 6.5-inch dedicated midrange and there is enough rear clearance for the conventional motor. It keeps the same 200W RMS / 400W max published power class as the NEO version, so the reason to choose ferrite is value—not because it is the weaker speaker.
SMS would use this in a loud door, pod or multi-way front stage where a separate tweeter handles the top end and a subwoofer or midbass section handles the heavy low-frequency work. The 90 Hz–5 kHz published response is not a reason to run it down to 90 Hz at full power; protect it with a high-pass filter chosen around the installation and output target.
