PMB65.4 — 6.5-Inch Echo Pro Carbon-Fiber Midbass Speakers — Pair
PMB65.4 is for the system that already has strong mids/highs and sub bass but still feels thin through kick drum, bass guitar and the lower vocal range. This is a dedicated 6.5-inch midbass, not another vocal-focused pro midrange. The carbon-fiber cone, NBR surround and 2-inch voice coil are built around controlled output in the upper-bass/lower-midrange band.
SMS would choose the 6.5 when the vehicle has a normal door or pod opening and cannot cleanly support the larger PMB8.4. At 300W RMS per speaker, it still needs real amplifier power, rigid mounting and door treatment. The 70 Hz published response is not a universal high-pass point; raise the crossover as power and excursion demand increase.
