Description
XM65.4 — 6.5-Inch Echo Max Pro Midrange — Ferrite Motor
XM65.4 is the high-power Recoil midrange for a build where 100–200W-class door mids are no longer enough. The carbon-fiber cone, 2-inch high-temperature voice coil and 44.3 oz ferrite motor are built around 350W RMS output while keeping the driver in a 6.5-inch format.
Choose ferrite when the door or pod has the full 81 mm / 3.2-inch rear clearance and motor weight is not a concern. SMS would use it in an aggressive SQL/SPL-style midrange bank with dedicated high-frequency drivers and proper high-pass protection. If depth or panel weight is the fight, choose XM65.4NEO instead—the NEO version keeps the same RMS rating but packages easier.

Where this fits in the build
These speakers have to work where wind, road noise, mounting space and exposure change the job. Match the driver to the actual location, output target, amplifier power and environment instead of treating it like a normal door-speaker replacement.
