The ARC Audio A12 is a low-profile 12-inch subwoofer designed to provide increased cone area in sealed enclosures where mounting depth is restricted. It is available with dual 2-ohm or dual 4-ohm voice coils for flexible amplifier-load configurations in under-seat truck enclosures, compact cargo-area systems, and custom installations.
The A12 uses ARC Audio’s shallow C.R.S. stamped basket, a reinforced pulp cone, and a high-excursion suspension assembly. An inner-core open-vent motor and open motor venting support voice-coil cooling during sustained playback. The progressive twisted-pile Polycotton Nomex spider and UV-grade polyether surround maintain mechanical control through the driver’s rated 15.5 mm linear excursion.
With 300 watts RMS power handling and a recommended sealed volume of 1.00 cubic foot, the A12 is intended for systems that prioritize controlled bass from a shallow enclosure rather than requiring a conventional full-depth subwoofer chassis.
