Description
The ARC Audio ARC 1000.2 is a two-channel, full-range Class-D amplifier built around ARC Audio's interchangeable front-end architecture. It is rated at 500 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms or 1,000 watts RMS bridged into a 4-ohm load.
The standard analog front end includes an adjustable 50–500 Hz crossover. Three preamp outputs—full-range, high-pass, and low-pass—support system expansion. For installations requiring digital signal processing, the analog input board can be replaced with the optional ARC Audio IPS8.8 DSP module, sold separately.
Fully balanced differential inputs, plug-in signal and speaker connectors, microprocessor-controlled forced-air cooling, and a cast-aluminum chassis support reliable installation. The amplifier's master-clock and switching-frequency settings can be adjusted through ARC Audio software to help address potential Class-D interference in sensitive vehicles.
