Description
The ARC Audio ARC 1000.2 is a high-power two-channel Class-D amplifier built around ARC Audio's interchangeable front-end architecture. In its standard analog configuration, it can power a high-output stereo speaker or midbass system with 500 watts RMS per channel, or operate bridged as a 1,000-watt mono amplifier into a 4-ohm load.
The standard front end includes high-pass, low-pass, and all-pass filtering along with bass-boost control. For systems requiring full digital tuning and signal management, the analog front end can be replaced with the optional IPS8.8 DSP module, allowing the amplifier to become part of a DSP-controlled active system without adding a separate external processor chassis.
A cast chassis, internal forced-air cooling, balanced differential inputs, plug-in signal and speaker connections, and digitally adjustable switching frequency support compact installation and help manage potential Class-D interference in sensitive vehicles. PC-based firmware updates, remote settings, and an RGB status logo provide additional system-control and diagnostic functions.
