Description
The ARC Audio ARC 1000.6 is a six-channel Class-D amplifier designed for active multi-way systems, high-output front stages, and installations that need several channels of equal power from one compact chassis. Each channel produces 175 watts RMS into either 4-ohm or 2-ohm loads, allowing consistent output across different driver impedances.
The three channel pairs can be bridged to produce 250 watts RMS per pair into 4 ohms. The standard amplifier does not include analog crossover controls, making it best suited to systems that use an external DSP or the optional IPS8.8 interchangeable DSP front end for crossover, equalization, delay, and signal routing.
The ARC Series cast chassis incorporates internal forced-air cooling, balanced differential inputs, plug-in signal and speaker connections, digitally adjustable switching frequency, PC-based firmware support, and an RGB status logo. This architecture provides the channel count and integration flexibility required for advanced active systems while keeping the amplifier and optional processor in a single platform.
