The ARC Audio ARC12 is a 12-inch ARC Series subwoofer designed for sealed enclosures that require greater cone area and low-frequency extension than the smaller ARC8 and ARC10 models. It uses a traditional stamped-basket chassis and ferrite motor for sound-quality-oriented daily bass systems.
The ARC12 is available with dual 2-ohm or dual 4-ohm voice coils, allowing the installer to configure the correct final load for one or multiple drivers. It handles 350 watts RMS, provides 15 mm of rated linear excursion, and is recommended for a 1.15-cubic-foot sealed enclosure.
Its combination of moderate power requirements and compact sealed-box recommendations makes it suitable for trunk, cargo-area, behind-seat, and custom enclosure installations where a full-size 12-inch subwoofer can be accommodated. Published enclosure volumes apply per driver.
