Description
The ARC Audio ARC8 is an 8-inch ARC Series subwoofer designed for compact sealed enclosures. Its traditional-depth stamped-basket design and ferrite motor provide a practical solution for systems that need controlled low-frequency reinforcement from limited enclosure volume.
The ARC8 is available with dual 2-ohm or dual 4-ohm voice coils, allowing the installer to select a final amplifier load appropriate for one or multiple subwoofers. Its 150-watt RMS rating, 15 mm linear excursion, and recommended 0.45-cubic-foot sealed enclosure make it suitable for compact cars, trucks, factory-location upgrades, and small custom bass systems.
Enclosure volume, amplifier power, final impedance, and available mounting depth should be planned together. The published enclosure recommendations are sealed-box volumes for one driver.
