Description
Description
The ARC Audio Copper CU4.2 is a two-channel Class A/B reference amplifier designed for high-output front-stage, midbass, specialty-driver, or bridged mono applications. It delivers 225 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms, 350 watts RMS per channel into 2 ohms, or 700 watts RMS when bridged into a 4-ohm load.
The wide 10 Hz–75 kHz frequency response allows the CU4.2 to operate as a full-range amplifier in sound-quality systems while retaining the current capability needed for demanding speakers. Its selectable input configuration and bypassable front end allow the amplifier to be used with its onboard signal controls or connected to an external DSP for a direct, processor-controlled system layout.
An adjustable crossover range from 55 Hz to 5.5 kHz supports full-range, high-frequency, midrange, and midbass system assignments. The CU4.2 does not include a built-in DSP.
