Description
The ARC Audio MOTO CX6 is a pair of shallow 6.5-inch coaxial speakers developed for motorcycles, powersports vehicles, and other exposed installations. The redesigned slim-profile chassis and 2.31-inch mounting depth allow the speaker to fit a wider range of factory and custom locations than a conventional deep-basket coaxial.
A sealed front face and floating tweeter assembly improve resistance to water and road exposure. The carbon-filled polypropylene cone is driven by a Y35 one-piece T-yoke motor and a 1.25-inch high-temperature copper voice coil on a pressed glass-fiber former. Vented voice-coil and motor construction improves cooling during extended high-output operation.
The MOTO CX6 handles 110 watts RMS and 260 watts maximum, with 92.5 dB sensitivity. On 2014-and-newer Harley-Davidson Street Glide upper-fairing installations, the factory metal grilles are required. Grilles are not included.
