Description
The ARC Audio PS8PRO is an eight-input, eight-output Pro-Series digital signal processor designed for active audio systems, factory-radio integration, and precision system tuning. Each of its eight RCA outputs is independently processed, allowing dedicated control of individual tweeters, midranges, midbass drivers, rear speakers, and subwoofer channels.
The processor uses 32-bit fixed-point DSP architecture with AKM AK5558 analog-to-digital and AK4438 digital-to-analog conversion. Eight differential analog inputs accept low-level or amplified factory signals from 5 to 32 volts RMS, while optical and coaxial digital-source support provide additional integration paths when the required ARC Audio digital-over-copper hardware is used.
ARC Audio DNA software provides input summing, matrix routing, per-channel equalization, crossover control, phase and delay adjustment, and four user presets. The PS8PRO supports iDatalink Maestro AR integration. The current optional wired controller is the ARC Audio LR2; the LR2, Maestro modules, digital adapters, and AXP wireless interface are sold separately.
