The ARC Audio SW12 is a 12-inch ultra-shallow sound-quality subwoofer designed for front-loaded sealed enclosures. It is offered as the SW12D2 with dual 2-ohm voice coils or the SW12D4 with dual 4-ohm voice coils for flexible amplifier-load configuration.
The shallow front-loaded architecture provides the cone area of a 12-inch driver while reducing the enclosure depth required in under-seat, behind-seat, side-panel, and other space-limited installations. ARC Audio specifies sealed enclosures from 0.65 to 1.00 cubic foot per driver.
The current 2026 ARC Audio catalog rates the SW12 for 400 watts RMS and 500 watts maximum. Enclosure volume, available depth, amplifier impedance, and the number of drivers should be planned together before the enclosure is built.
