Description
The ARC Audio SW12 is a sound-quality-focused 12-inch ultra-shallow subwoofer for under-seat truck enclosures, behind-seat systems, down-fire designs and other installations where a conventional full-depth subwoofer will not fit.
A front-mounted N42UH neodymium motor places the motor outside the sealed air chamber in a properly designed front-loaded enclosure. This architecture preserves usable enclosure volume and exposes the motor assembly to open-air cooling. The reinforced cellulose-fiber cone, hydrophobic treatment, low-shore butyl-rubber surround and Nomex/cotton-blend spider support controlled operation through 15.5 mm of one-way linear excursion.
