Description
The ARC Audio X2 650.1 is a compact monoblock Class-D amplifier engineered specifically for subwoofer systems. Its low-frequency operating range concentrates the amplifier's output on bass reproduction rather than full-range speaker operation, making it suitable for a single subwoofer or a moderate dual-subwoofer system.
The amplifier delivers 185 watts RMS into 4 ohms, 350 watts RMS into 2 ohms, and up to 650 watts RMS into 1 ohm. For systems that require additional output, two X2 650.1 amplifiers can be linked through the master/slave strapping circuit to produce up to 1,100 watts of synchronized low-frequency power.
Balanced differential inputs allow connection to aftermarket RCA sources or many factory speaker-level outputs through the supplied input pigtails. The Level 1 cosmetic package uses a compact black steel chassis with a rotatable diamond-cut aluminum badge, while the removable top panel provides access to the tuning controls and connection terminals.
