Description
Description
The ARC Audio X2 800.8 DSP, also identified as the X2800.8 DSP, combines eight bridgeable Class-D amplifier channels with twelve channels of DSP control. Four additional processed preamp outputs allow external amplifiers to be integrated into the same tuning platform.
The amplifier section delivers 50 watts x 8 at 4 ohms, 85 watts x 8 at 2 ohms or 170 watts x 4 bridged at 4 ohms. A 32-bit Analog Devices ADAU1462 processor and AKM Velvet Sound conversion support detailed signal processing, while coaxial S/PDIF digital input supports audio up to 192 kHz / 32-bit.
ARC Audio DNA software provides equalization, crossovers, delay, phase, summing and matrix routing. The platform supports as many as four user-defined presets, RCA and speaker-level inputs, optical and digital-over-copper sources and iDatalink Maestro AR integration.
