The ARC Audio X212 is a 12-inch X2 Series subwoofer designed for sealed enclosures that require greater cone area and low-frequency capability than the X210 while retaining moderate enclosure requirements. It is offered as the X212 D2 with dual 2-ohm voice coils and the X212 D4 with dual 4-ohm voice coils.
The moving assembly uses a composite-fiber cone, high-temperature aluminum voice coil, and hi-roll Conex spider. The driver provides 13.5 mm of rated linear excursion and handles 250 watts RMS or 500 watts maximum music power.
ARC Audio publishes a sealed-enclosure range of 1.0 to 1.5 cubic feet per driver, with 1.25 cubic feet recommended. The 5.625-inch mounting depth and 11.125-inch cutout diameter should be confirmed before enclosure construction.
