Description
The ARC Audio X2 800.8 DSP combines eight channels of high-efficiency Class-D amplification with a twelve-channel digital signal processor. It is intended for compact active systems and OEM-integration upgrades that need amplified outputs, processed expansion outputs, and detailed signal control from a single chassis.
The eight bridgeable amplifier channels deliver 50 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms or 85 watts RMS per channel into 2 ohms. Four bridged channel pairs can produce 170 watts RMS each into 4 ohms. Four additional DSP-controlled preamp outputs can feed external amplifiers, providing twelve total processed output channels.
The processor supports high-level signals up to 32 volts, Toslink optical input, digital-over-copper input, iDatalink Maestro AR integration, input summing, matrix mixing, all-pass filters, crossover control, time alignment, and six system presets. The DSP operates with 32-bit processing and 96 kHz analog conversion. ARC Audio DNA software provides twelve bands of input equalization per channel, ten bands of output equalization per channel, parametric or one-third-octave operation, and precise routing for factory or aftermarket source configurations.
