The Kicker 47KMFMF is a marine master fuse holder that mounts directly at a battery terminal to protect the main amplifier power feed close to its source. This installation approach minimizes the length of unfused cable in the vessel.
The holder accepts one waterproof, ignition-protected MRBF marine fuse. The fuse is selected separately according to the main cable size and connected equipment. Kicker identifies the holder as compliant with applicable U.S. Coast Guard and ABYC standards.
