Description
The AudioCenter Butterfly 4 CA is a compact multipurpose micro-line-array loudspeaker designed for installed sound systems that need both low-impedance and 70V/100V distributed-audio operation. One 4-inch low-frequency driver and two 1-inch soft-dome high-frequency drivers are arranged around AudioCenter’s T-EYE™ treble layout at the center front of the cabinet for broad near-field coverage and extended high-frequency response.
The modular enclosure can be used as a single point-source loudspeaker or combined with multiple cabinets to form a compact array. Its 100-degree horizontal by 20-degree vertical coverage pattern supports speech and music reinforcement in meeting rooms, hospitality spaces, retail environments, houses of worship, exhibits, and other small to medium installed-audio applications.
The Butterfly 4 CA includes a smart passive crossover, a dedicated driver-protection circuit, an IP54-rated ABS cabinet, aluminum grille, and an all-weather protective input connector. The selectable transformer provides 70V and 100V taps while the 16-ohm low-impedance mode supports conventional amplifier systems.
