Description
The AudioCenter GT508A is a compact active DSP-controlled full-range loudspeaker built around AudioCenter’s BrainCore™ technology. Its 8-inch low-frequency driver and 1-inch-exit high-frequency driver provide a portable point-source system for speech, music playback, small events, fixed installations, stage fill, and systems used with a separate subwoofer.
The current GT platform uses a 1,100-watt RMS Class-D amplifier, 48 kHz DSP with FIR filtering, and three application presets: MAIN, SPEECH, and W/SUB. The rotatable 90-by-60-degree coverage pattern allows the cabinet to be oriented vertically or horizontally according to the installation and audience area.
The CNC-machined plywood cabinet has a durable polyurea coating, iron grille, M8 suspension points, and a 35 mm pole socket with 0-degree and 10-degree positions. Fan-assisted cooling and comprehensive electrical and thermal protection support professional portable and installed use.
