The AudioCenter L83 MK2 / L83S MK2 is a professional active column loudspeaker system that combines a slim passive line-array column with a dual-12-inch powered subwoofer. The system is designed for mobile entertainment, live performance, presentations, houses of worship, event production, and other applications that need broad horizontal coverage, controlled vertical dispersion, and substantial low-frequency output from a compact system.
The L83 MK2 column uses eight 3-inch low-frequency drivers and two 1-inch high-frequency drivers. Its 110-degree horizontal by 10-degree vertical coverage pattern distributes sound across a wide listening area while limiting unnecessary energy above and below the audience. The L83S MK2 active subwoofer uses two 12-inch drivers and contains the system's Class-D amplification, 96 kHz DSP, input connections, Bluetooth receiver, and speaker output for the column.
The integrated amplifier is rated at 2,000 watts RMS and 4,000 watts peak. Factory DSP presets support the L83 MK2, L65 MK2, and T4L loudspeakers, allowing the powered subwoofer platform to be configured for several compatible AudioCenter top-box options. A combination XLR/6.35 mm input, stereo Bluetooth audio, male XLR signal output, and 4-pin Speakon speaker link provide the connections required for standalone use or expansion into a larger system.
