The AudioCenter S3118A is a single-18-inch active wooden subwoofer designed to add high-output low-frequency reinforcement to professional PA systems. Its customized 18-inch driver uses a 4-inch voice coil and operates in a CNC-machined plywood enclosure for portable event systems, live sound, DJ applications, houses of worship, and fixed installations.
An integrated Class-D amplifier delivers 1,000 watts RMS and 2,000 watts peak. The onboard 48 kHz DSP provides selectable 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz low-pass presets, allowing the subwoofer to be matched to different full-range loudspeakers and system configurations without requiring a separate analog crossover.
A female XLR input and male XLR output support signal connection and linking to additional powered loudspeakers or subwoofers. Universal 100–240-volt AC operation and a locking PowerCon connection support reliable use in mobile and installed systems. The cabinet produces a calculated maximum output of 128 dB continuous and 134 dB peak while extending to 35 Hz.
