The AudioCenter S3218A is a dual-18-inch active wooden subwoofer engineered for professional systems that require greater low-frequency output and headroom than a single-driver enclosure can provide. Two customized 18-inch drivers with 4-inch voice coils are installed in a CNC-machined plywood cabinet for large mobile events, live sound, DJ systems, houses of worship, clubs, and fixed installations.
The integrated Class-D amplifier supplies 2,000 watts RMS and 4,000 watts peak. Its 48 kHz DSP includes selectable 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz low-pass presets, allowing the subwoofer to be integrated with different full-range loudspeakers and system layouts without relying on an external analog crossover.
The S3218A reaches a calculated maximum output of 134 dB continuous and 140 dB peak, with frequency response extending to 32 Hz. A female XLR input, male XLR output, locking PowerCon connection, and universal 100–240-volt AC operation support signal linking and dependable use in both touring and installed applications.
