The AudioCenter SA3218 is a dual-18-inch active DSP-controlled subwoofer intended for professional PA systems that require high low-frequency output from a self-powered cabinet. Its two 18-inch drivers use 4-inch voice coils, and the integrated Class-D amplifier supplies 2,000 watts RMS and 4,000 watts peak.
The 48 kHz DSP provides selectable 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz low-pass presets for matching the subwoofer to different full-range loudspeakers and system layouts. XLR input and output connectors support signal linking to additional active cabinets.
