Give the Lit FX System a Proper 12-Volt Power Feed
The controller tells the LEDs what to do, but the lighting still needs a clean, properly fused source of vehicle power. This Lit FX harness is the dedicated 12-volt power feed for compatible LED rings, acrylic panels and show-lighting installations.
It is intended to keep the lighting system serviceable and separate from improvised accessory-power taps.
What It Does
- Provides a dedicated fused 12-volt supply path for compatible Lit FX lighting
- Provides a dedicated ground return for the lighting system
- Supports cleaner controller and lighting-system serviceability
- Works alongside compatible Lit FX controllers, 3-pin LED extensions and signal-distribution accessories
The Harness Does Not Replace the Controller
The power harness supplies 12-volt power. It does not create chase effects, colors or animation. If the lighting product uses Chase RGB / Addressable LEDs, you still need the appropriate Lit FX controller unless that controller is already included with the product package.
Size the Power Side to the Actual Build
Fuse size, wire gauge, harness length and distribution method must match the number and type of LED rings or panels being powered. This should not be treated as one fixed-amperage solution for every installation.
Larger multi-ring or multi-panel systems may require additional power distribution or power injection while keeping the lighting and controller grounds properly tied together.
Installation
Route the harness away from moving parts, sharp edges, exhaust heat and pinch points. Maintain correct polarity and verify the lighting-system voltage before connection.
This is a 12-volt vehicle lighting power harness. It is not a USB power cable.
