SMS Precision 6.5-Inch Speaker Spacers provide additional mounting depth or stand-off distance for compatible 6.5-inch speakers. They are intended for custom doors, factory-location upgrades, speaker pods and fabrication projects where the speaker basket or magnet needs more clearance from the mounting surface.
Eight thickness choices are available from 1/4 inch through 2 inches. The selected thickness must still preserve door-panel, window-track, grille, surround and magnet clearance, and the spacer should be sealed correctly to the mounting surface.
