ARC Audio Speaker Guide
ARC Audio Speaker Guide
This ARC Audio speaker guide helps compare X2, AS, RS, and motorcycle speaker paths. The goal is not to push the most expensive speaker. The goal is to match the speaker line to the vehicle, install plan, amplifier power, tuning goal, and customer budget.
ARC Speaker Lineup
| ARC Speaker Line | What It Is | Best Fit | Spec Rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| X2 Speakers | Practical ARC upgrade line. | Factory speaker replacement, daily drivers, simple upgrades. | Verify exact X2 model size, depth, RMS, impedance, and fitment before sale. |
| AS Speakers | Premium middle step between X2 and RS. | Amplified speaker upgrades, better front stage, premium daily builds. | Verify AS100, AS250, AS600 specs before quoting. |
| RS Speakers | Reference-level drivers for active systems. | DSP-tuned builds, 2-way/3-way front stages, sound-quality systems. | RS 6.0 features added; remaining RS model specs still need verification. |
| Motorcycle Speakers | Open-air speaker path for bikes. | Fairing, lower, saddlebag lid, and touring motorcycle systems. | Verify exact bike fitment, speaker model, grille, and amplifier pairing. |
SMS Recommendation Style
At SMS Car Audio, we match the ARC speaker to the vehicle and customer. If X2 is enough, we will not push RS. If AS is the right value, we explain why. If RS is worth the money, we also explain the amplifier, DSP, door treatment, and tuning needed to make it perform.
